Performance
You can get one of two engines for the Trailblazer based on the model that you choose. The base engine is a turbo 1.2L engine with three cylinders. This engine produces 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque. With this engine, you'll also get standard front-wheel drive and an automatic transmission. If you choose all-wheel drive instead, you will get a Trailblazer powered by a turbo 1.3L engine with three cylinders that produces 155 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque. This engine comes with a nine-speed automatic transmission. No matter which powertrain system you get, the Trailblazer will tow up to 1,000 pounds.
Technology
The Trailblazer has standard wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Another notable standard feature is USB-A and USB-C ports in both rows of seats. The new Chevy Trailblazer has an 11-inch infotainment touchscreen display, along with a six-speaker sound system.
Along with the standard features included with the Trailblazer, you can also get some features added as upgrades. That includes the Convenience package, available on the LT trim and up, with more USB charging ports and a household-style power outlet. A Bose sound system is also an available upgrade.
Interior and Exterior
All Trailblazer trim levels seat five people. You'll also get a nice layout of tech features that are easy to reach and use. With the Trailblazer, you will also get a slightly higher ride height, making taller drivers and occupants feel at ease. The back seat of the Trailblazer has plenty of space, which means that even taller occupants won't have a problem riding along even for longer distances. The Trailblazer also has a driver's seat that can be adjusted in various ways, and it has a sloping roofline that adds to its appearance without taking away from its visibility around Vineland and Millville.
On the outside, the Trailblazer has a capable but contemporary image. The Trailblazer has standard automatic headlights, and the base trim level starts with alloy wheels. While you'll still get 17-inch wheels on the second trim, they come with machine rather than alloy finish. All-terrain tires are added, starting with the Activ model. The RS trim level has dark chrome-accented touches and larger wheels.
Features
A push-button start is a helpful standard feature with the new Trailblazer. You will also get a standard split-folding rear seat. The Trailblazer has some standard safety aids as well, including forward collision mitigation and lane-keeping assistance.
Some packages are available to enhance the Trailblazer. They add more safety aids and convenience features.
Trim Levels
The LS is the base model with automatic headlights, a six-speaker sound system, a flat-folding passenger's seat, and two USB ports.
The LT adds black wheels, LED fog lights, roof rails, heated side mirrors, and heated front seats.
With the Activ comes all-terrain tires, a turbo standard engine, an off-road suspension, underbody skid plates, dual exhaust pipes, a tow hitch receiver, synthetic leather seats, a heated steering wheel wrapped in leather, and a power-adjustable driver's seat.
The RS has red interior accents, dark chrome exterior accents, and a race-ready steering wheel.
